Onika Venus, a singer-songwriter from Jamaica, based in the Forest of Dean, discovered her passion for music in Resource. Her soulful voice and reggae style have won global acclaim. Collaborating with BBC1 Xtra's Seanie B, Tubby T, and Miss Dynamite (as 'Lady Posh'), she fronts Slyde, a Break Beat Awards-nominated band. Her albums 'Everything You Are' (2021) and 'Midnight Remedy' (2023) receive regular BBC Upload radio play.
